Fascia Box: Backlit

This drawing is applicable for fascia signs secured flush to an exterior wall surface.  Design is based on fascia signs with a height range of 47.125” – 54” (1197mm – 1372mm), a maximum depth of 10” (254mm), maximum weight of 942 lbs. (427 kg) and an overall length of less than 35′-0″ (10.67m).

Drawings include wall fastening specifications for a generic fascia sign.  This drawing can be paired with site-specific artwork provided that the proposed fascia sign size and specifications are within the range and meet the criteria specified on the drawing.

The purchaser must review all drawing information, including the critical information below, for this sign type to ensure that this drawing will cover all aspects of the site-specific fascia sign.  Sign Spec recommends that the actual wall conditions at site be verified prior to purchase to ensure that they match one of the wall sections provided in the drawings.

The drawing includes fastener specifications and attachment details for the following seven (7) common wall cross sections:

• Stucco & Rigid Insulation (EIFS) on Plywood Sheathing
• Stucco & Rigid Insulation (EIFS) on Gypsum Sheathing
• Pre-cast or Cast in Place Concrete
• Concrete Masonry Units (Hollow Concrete Block)
• Brick Veneer with Plywood Sheathing
• Brick Veneer with Gypsum Sheathing
• ACM (or Metal Siding) on Plywood Sheathing
